Hi! I am a background artist working in animation. My work experience includes: lead background designer and painter for Stephen Colbert’s Late Night Cartoons at CBS and background painter/visual development artist on projects at Titmouse, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Cartuna, King and Keyframe Digital.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, I studied in Toronto, learning 2D and 3D animation. After a decade in New York City, I now reside in Los Angeles with my wife, Kate, a middle school science teacher. We embrace the intersection of art and education, striving to enrich both our lives and those around us.
I love painting outdoors, both traditionally and digitally, as it fuels my creativity, and provides me with invaluable inspiration from the natural world.
